Giocondo at the Vecchio Magazzino Doganale bartered the first agricultural tools for liquorice roots. Today, luck has it that in our terrain of dreams, our “Martorano” botanical garden was full of liquorice (PDO). We could not overlook two such important elements, which inevitably have marked our history. With great difficulty we put together: research, recipe, history and image. We are proud to present our liquorice: «We were standing in line, we couldn’t wait to sit down, the lights were magical. The magician shouted: ABRACADABRA and the show began».

Separately an alcohol infusion with roots reduced to chunks is prepared. Alcohol content and maturation time of the infusion may vary from time to time. The natural color, aroma and density of Abracadabra make it a unique liquorice liqueur.
