The Filone Limone is artisan fruit bread, which leavens naturally thanks to our sourdough. Dario Loison wanted to revive this ancient recipe of his father, Alessandro, enriching it with a selection of top quality ingredients. The soft and well-alveolated dough is embellished with sultanas and delicious candied lemon peel, whereas the top is coated in a crumbly glaze, made with PGI Piedmont hazelnuts, which gives the loaf unforgettable texture and flavour.
The Mediterranean scent of candied lemon peel anticipates the richness of aromas and flavours that distinguish the Filone Limone. The dough is made soft and light thanks to the natural leavening of the sourdough, which then contrasts the crumbly and crunchy consistency of the glaze, making this artisan sweet a unique and refined tasteful experience.
